Deze Afrikaanse lelie of Agapanthus is een gracieuze bloem die ook wel bloem der liefde wordt genoemd. In het Grieks betekent agape liefde. Deze bloem op steen is onderdeel van de bloemen op steen collectie. Mijn idee hierbij is dat tijdens de rouwdienst de nabestaanden ieder een eigen steen op de kist kunnen plaatsen en de bloem naderhand mee naar huis kunnen nemen als tastbare herinnering aan een liefdevol afscheid.
